Primal Breakers are performed by pressing both Guard and either the Punch, Kick or Beast button simultaneously while being attacked, and instantly depletes all of the player’s recoverable health. With Untamed, Bloody Roar’s tried-and-tested fighting engine has been given an update in order to accommodate modern fighting game standards. Unlike most fighting games, where sustained damage cannot be healed, Bloody Roar: Untamed allows players to slowly regain recoverable health, marked by a lighter greyish shade in the player’s life meter, by entering Beast mode.
